I hate that my latest posts are just WOW Wednesdays and Foto Fridays. It drives me crazy that I don’t have time to sit down and write a post, even though my ideas for posts keep flowing. (I need a better system to remember me of all of them! 🙂 ) As life progresses, I am constantly exploring new avenues – new avenues to release my creativity; new avenues to be exposed to different cultures, people and things; new avenues for just about anything – workouts, jobs, forms of income, friends. And of course, adventures! Just About Anything!
In this quest of new avenues, I am looking for new challenges and change that help further my growth and development.
Recently, I started an Etsy store. Let me tell you – I am new to it and know NOTHING about it. So, if you or someone you know has a successful Etsy store, please leave me a comment! I would love any suggestions, insight and recommendations. (Update: I found some podcasts that I will be listening to on how to run a successful Etsy store, but keep the help coming!) In addition to more time to blog, I want to designate some of that time to researching Etsy success.
I am starting small with Etsy – currently three downloadable pictures are available. I hope and do want to expand that base. I may be tooting my own horn, but I think I take some amazing pictures and would love to share them with people. Because otherwise, the ones I don’t post on IG, print or use for my blog, they end up sitting on an external hard-drive that rarely gets touched. So, why not share, right? Check out my store at https://www.etsy.com/shop/WanderfulWondering.
So, I have been thinking…
-
Anyone ever write a book?
-
Anyone ever teach, instruct or life-coach?
-
Anyone ever lived out of a van, living throughout the country?
-
Anyone ever start a business from dirt…I mean, scratch?
-
Anyone ever just pick up and leave an area and start new in another city they love?
There are a few other things I need to look into and research, but this is a start! If you or anyone you know has done any of these, please leave me a comment and we will be in touch.
As I mentioned before, I am looking for new things to do, try, and eventually conquer to build character and become a better person. I am excited about some new avenues and what life has to offer in my next chapter(s) of life. Despite my favorite season ending, I posted on IG the other day:
“Very disappointed that I’m saying goodbye to summer. I don’t fend too well in the winter months. This summer, like many before, has flown by and I wish I had more time. I have been on some interesting trips, escaped to my safe haven, met some people who have changed my life, and gave some serious thought to where I want my life to go. While I may have derailed myself a time or two [purposely or not], I have managed to always jump back on track. I am going to stick it out until the end, until I find where I’m going, until I get what I want! So while I am saying goodbye to summer 2017, I am saying hello to all my future endeavors, people I’ll meet, places I’ll go, and things that I’ll do. I’m hopeful for the future and everything it has to offer!”
