South Yarmouth, Massachusetts (Cape Cod)

South Yarmouth, Massachusetts (Cape Cod)

“South Yahmouth”…at the Cape.

The only reason I came back to the Cape was for a childhood friend’s wedding. Otherwise, I’ve been once and don’t really need to go back. I personally think Cape Cod is overrated. Butttt the wedding was lovely and I had a wicked good time 😉 (I’m really trying to bring wicked to Virginia…is it working?)

Besides going to the beach and hanging out with everyone from the wedding, I did NO exploring in South Yarmouth. I talked to some fellow guests who ventured out, but I had my sights set on soaking up the sunshine – and nothing else! I spent my two days at the beach and only left for wedding related activities.

At the wedding, I met some very interesting individuals and developed some potential lifelong friendships! With that being said, New Englanders are muchhhh different than NoVA’ers. Different breed of people and can party HARD! They surely kept me entertained throughout my whole trip at the Cape.

This post is short because there wasn’t much to this leg of the trip. Bridal tea party, rehearsal dinner + drunk men swimming in the freezing ocean, the wedding and more drinking for the fellows. I have a few lasting memories and stories to share, but…

What happens in South Yarmouth, stays in South Yarmouth!

Highlights of South Yarmouth:

  • The beach
  • My friend got married 🙂
  • The lasting friendships developed amongst the wedding party

Stay tuned to hear about my first time in New Hampshire and the needed relaxation in Hampton Beach. Oh and you can’t miss my renewed appreciation for lobster. Happy adventuring!
