Remodeling our beach house floors!
Over the last six months, my parents and I have taken on an extremely labor intensive, yet exhilarating and fun, task of pulling up carpet and laying down bamboo laminate flooring. And I have to say I was sad to see it come to an end. But fully admit (bragging, of course)
IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I have found true love in remodeling – and makes me want to take on something at my own house … or worse, volunteer to help friends and family! HAHA. Who needs help? Anyone? 😂
Needless to say, there was some great bonding throughout the process. Instead of being cutthroat for perfection between mother and daughter, my mom and I exchanged multiple laughs, lots of cuss words (should be noted, not at each other, lol) and plenty of compliments. I walk away not only being able to brag about the finished product but a sense of accomplishment between my mother and daughter.
Because the project took forever and turned out SO GOOD, I’m going to take a minute to brag about our success through pictures. Also, if you want to rent out house, please let me know! Message me and we can make it happen! (Nice plug for rentals, huh? Haha!)
